American Floral Rug Done Hooking!

I finished hooking this rug today. I may tweek it a little here and there.    The design is by Maggie Bonanomi available through Need'l Love.  It is quite large 29 x 37 inches. I plan to make a black wool binding and hand stitch it on.
It will have a home over the fireplace mantle in the living room for now.
I'll take a photo when I get it hung up!

Here's to the beautiful red, white and blue!
Long may she wave!

  5. Sheesh, another wonderful hooked rug by you. It is gorgeous Cathy. What is even more interesting is the background you chose. There is a lot of grey? and I see swirls of very dark but none of it took away from the beauty and the colors you chose for the flowers and other motifs. Again, another job very well done!!!!!
