Feather Tree Pattern Freebie!

The elves here at Red House Wool Studio have been hard at work trying to teach their boss ( me..Cathy G.) how to share a file of a pattern with my blog readers.  Well after much discussion on the subject of trying to teach an old blogger new tricks I am hoping this works!

So here goes!!  My gift to you the pattern for the Feather Tree rug I designed a couple of years ago!
One of my all time favorites to hook!
It hooks up real quick!
I made mine 7 by 14 inches and you can see it in the photo above hanging on the door of my old cupboard in the studio!

I am hoping you can click on the photo or drag it to your desktop and print it out!  You will have to reduce ( which would be nice for punch needle or enlarge for rug hooking).  In any event I hope you are more computer savy than this old broad!!  Tee Hee!!
So enjoy dear friends and may you all have a Joyous Christmas and Blessings a Plenty in the coming New Year!!

Send me pics of your Feather Tree rugs!!

Hugs!
Cathy G

  2. Cathy, thanks so much for the feather tree pattern. It is perfect for my first punch needle that I will start after Christmas, then will enlarge for a gift for 2015 Christmas. I had no trouble getting the pattern to my desk top. Ya did good. I think that I'm in the same boat as you------not computer smart. May your Christmas be blessed with happiness and joy as you celebrate with your family. Yours probably will be a white one, where ours will just be wet :-(.

  3. I really need to get my hooking out and start hooking again.
Fun pattern and would be nice to add it as a runner or table topper with two trees on the end.

  6. Thanks Cathy for the thoughtful gift. I've got it saved on my desktop. Life has been the busiest in years for me and I haven't pulled a single hoop on my grandfather rug in the last three weeks. I hope life will slow down after the holidays.

Merry Christmas and all the Best for the New Year.
    Hugs,

  14. Thank you, Cathy. Beautifully simple image. I started working on your "Merry Christmas" plenty early enough, but life happened to get in the way. I may finish it this season or maybe not until next, but your "Feather Tree" will also be done next year for sure.

    Have a wonderful holiday season.

  15. I just love feather trees, and your pattern is darling! I didn't think I'd add anymore Christmas decorations, but a little feather tree made it's way into my home. Imagine that!
