Christmas in Blue!

There's something about blue Christmas lights... so peaceful and beautiful on a winter's night!

This house in a neighborhood near us has  the most spectacular lighting  display in town!  Dave and I agree we both love the blue lights! Against the fresh 4 to 5 inches of snow we had today it was picture perfect!

We stopped this evening while on our way home after a little shopping....

And will drive past again I'm sure this Christmas season!

I'm getting ready for second Tuesday of the month hooking here this week!  Sounds like we have a couple of new gals joining us!
So stay tuned!
Can't wait to see what everyone is working on!

Peace and Love,

Cathy G

  1. I agree the blue lights are always striking. I wish I lived close enough to join the hooking. I don't know anyone in my area that hooks at all. There probably are poeple, just no organization or out let to find them. That's OK, I see enough online.

  6. Dear Cathy, I'm always glad to see a post from you and also glad that you're getting new gals to hook at your studio.

What a beautiful display of blue lights. It looks magical. In one section of our city, on the north side, there's a fierce competition every year and a whole street elaborately decorate their houses, roof and all and it's nothing but lights everywhere you look. People from all around drives pass to see the wonderful display. Every year it gets bigger and bigger.

Our snow storm has already begun this morning.
Happy Hooking, keep warm and stay safe.
    Hugs,
    Julia

  7. How ironic. Just last night I was asking my LA son if he still hated blue Christmas lights and he said yes, but not as much as he used to. Don't know why but he never liked them.
    That is one gorgeous display.
Yeah for you for getting more hookers!!!
    Merry, merry 🎄🎄🎄

  9. Beautiful! We were in need of some new outside lights, on one side a neighbor has colored lights, the other side all white-----so I decided not to be the same we'd go with blue-----me who blue is rarely in my wool or cotton stash. I guess growing older changes your style. Wish I lived close enough to come hook with you. "Tree Birds" will get binding started today--yeah! Not quite finished for our anniversary (14th) but darn close.
