Mary Ann Wise is a nationally known hooked and woven rug artist and has been published in Fiber Arts, Country Home, American Craft and others. In 2009 she introduced the art form to the fair trade groups in Guatemala.
So without further spiel........ the rugs! ( only a few of the many many on display)
Would have loved to have gone myself! What colorful rugs and what a great weekend! I especially loved the "Forest" but I wonder if they hung is upside down? Red Wing is a great place isn't it!
ReplyDeleteYou know...... I believe they did hang the "Forest" upside down! When I was looking at it in person it had this strange look! How funny!
