The sky on this gorgeous Spring day here in Wisconsin was a blue like you've never seen! I snapped photos all morning in my Mom's back yard as the McHenry Tree Service (father and son business) worked on cutting the branches of the mighty oak tree that we decided had to come down.
Sady this old tree had become hollow and with each strong wind storm we feared it would eventually fall on Mom's house. It had lost a lot of it's branches and shaded her deck so much that the moss and dampness have caused the boards on the deck to rot.
Dangerous work but executed with perfection and acrobatic ability!
The tree was given a haircut first!
I hollered up to Jesse that it looked like a giant cactus!
The sun is sure hitting that deck already! Mom should enjoy a little more sunshine through her patio doors now too!
Max on the left and his Dad Jesse on the right!
Great work guys!
Thank you for the careful work and entertainment here in the neighbor hood this morning!
Oh and not to mention that nice oak wood will be warming our house in winters to come!
I've included a couple of videos that I put on FaceBook today! ...
Put your ear plugs in if you don't like the sound of a chainsaw!
