Some Good Advice for this time of year..... My sister is a respiratory therapist and sent me this email today. It has some simple things we might not think about doing and could be very helpful.

Thanks Cathy. This H1N1 stuff is driving me crazy. We have hand sanitizers all over our office building and today we were given disinfecting wipes to clean our work surfaces, keyboards etc. The gov't said for months we had all the vaccine we would need for Canada, yet clinics ran short the first day and now it is only being given to kids under 5 and pregnant women. (And I'm not getting pregnant in order to get a needle!) lol All the Public Health nurses are committed to working the H1N1 clinics so our staff can't even get the seasonal flu shot we always get. I'm so nervous if anyone sneezes near me! Not so much for me, but scared I will bring a bug home to Mom.
ReplyDeleteThank you for passing along the information! We are trying to stay home and away from public places, but every once in a while we have to go to the grocery store. I'm certainly going to take the suggested precautions.
ReplyDeleteThank You Cathy, we've been washing our wash constantly and trying to follow some of these tips. I just bought a Netipot and does it even work.
